With substantial progress achieved across both the Storage and Production Hubs, Metal Park remains well on course to meet its projected September and December delivery timelines. The momentum continues to position Metal Park as a critical enabler for the region’s metal ecosystem.
Storage Hub Progress
The Storage Hub has reached near-completion, marking a significant transition from construction to readiness:
- Road Paving & Equipment Installation: Fully completed across all key zones, enabling vehicle circulation and future operations.
- Storage Hub Office: External works, including cladding and glazing, are completed. Interior works have now commenced.
- Gates & Access Control: All main gates are installed and functional, supporting secure movement within the site.
- Security Offices: External works, including cladding and fit-out of the guard rooms, are complete, with internal furnishing next in line.
Production Hub Progress
The Production Hub continues to progress steadily with multiple systems advancing in parallel:
- Cladding Installation: 60% of the structural cladding is now complete, enclosing the facility progressively.
- Open Platform Cementing: Cement filling across the open platforms has been completed, ensuring a durable base for industrial activity.
- Modular Offices: Installation of prefabricated modular offices is actively underway to support operational management within the hub.
- Systems Finalisation: Final inspections are in progress for fire safety, ducting, and pneumatic air supply systems—key components for production activation.
- Business Centre: Detailing and glass installation is 90% complete, with interior works scheduled to begin immediately thereafter.
