Metal Park has entered the final stretch of Phase One, with the Storage Hub fully completed and the Production Hub progressing steadily toward full handover. This period marks the transition from construction to final certifications and operational activation.
Storage Hub Progress
The Storage Hub is now fully completed, meeting all functional and infrastructure requirements:
- Interior Completion: All interior works within the Storage Hub office have been finalised, including utilities, fit-outs, and finishes.
- Operational Readiness: Security rooms, access control, gates, and weighbridge systems are fully installed and operational.
- Certification Process: Procedures for final authority inspections and Building Completion Certificate (BCC) are underway to ensure formal readiness for occupancy and operations.
Production Hub Progress
Significant milestones have been achieved across the Production Hub, setting the foundation for upcoming activation:
- Cladding Installation: Fully completed across all bays, sealing the structure for climate protection and security.
- Galva Hub Infrastructure: Civil and foundational works for the Galva Hub are completed, ready for utility integration and operational setup.
- Modular Offices: Installation is 70% complete, supporting decentralised operations within the hub.
- Business Centre: All external works, including façade and structural detailing, are fully completed. Interior fit-out will follow.
- Roads & Paving: Internal roadways, truck loading areas, and pedestrian pavements are 100% completed.
- Gate Installations: All gates around the perimeter and main access points are now in place and fully secured.
- Admin Office: The exterior of the administrative office is 100% completed, with interior works to follow in alignment with the overall production hub schedule.
